7/27/2020 Mrs. Mae Campbell is 58 years old cancer survivor and has been coming to Patti Presson Fitness since March 1, 2020. She started working out and working with Patti on her nutrition around the same time. In her 4 months with PPF, Mrs. Campbell has lost around 25 pounds and has much more energy and can do so many more day to day activities than before. She says that she “wanted to feel better and not be the old person that can’t do anything for themselves.” Her goals are to avoid buying new clothes because they were starting to not fit and avoid taking any medications for health reasons she could fix on her own. When asked about how she has been successful with her nutrition, Mrs. Campbell says that she was scared at first, but once she figured out how to meal prep and what worked best for her, it’s been so much easier. Her go-to snacks are rice cakes, blueberries and greek yogurt. Mrs. Campbell’s advice to anyone who has thought about starting nutrition but is scared to take that first step is to just do it. She says she doesn’t feel any judgement when she walks through the doors at PPF, and “Patti really cares about how you feel as a person, you can feel it.”
I had not stepped foot in a gym since my 27th week of pregnancy, and now that my daughter is 1, I decided I needed to start taking care of myself again which meant finding a gym and a trainer that I could call "home." January 1st of this year was my first workout since then, with Patti. Leaving that day I was 100% certain I had found my "gym home" and Patti was going to be the one to help me reach my goals. Being at her gym you feel nothing but positive vibes, encouragement, and motivation by the constant uplifting from not only Patti, but everyone else who attends her gym. Patti is very knowledgeable and gives excellent training and advice on nutrition and fitness. If you've been considering finding a "gym home" or trying out some classes, don't hesitate. I promise, you will not regret choosing Patti Presson Fitness.

I found Patti on a whim! A good friend asked me to join her at an open house for a gym offering a “Little Black Dress” challenge in October 2017. I agreed to attend the open house, and even agreed to participate in the challenge. I had given no thought to losing weight or working toward a healthier lifestyle prior to that day. After week one, I didn’t even want to look at the scales for fear if it hadn’t moved, I might give up. Instead, the number went down! And the scale continues to go down today! As of mid-April 2018, I have lost 43 pounds and over 34 inches!
Patti’s gym is just the place I need to be. She is encouraging and tough, but also understanding and HUMAN. The workouts are challenging and fun! She is able to create workouts that fit everyone, no matter your physical ability. Patti is right there with you every step of the way. Her passion is immeasurable and infectious! Patti has also created wonderful environment within the gym – we push, support and celebrate one another. I WANT to go to the gym! And that’s NEVER happened before.

I started working out with Patti over a year ago. I went one Saturday morning just to try it and have been going ever since. Patti is an awesome motivator and trainer. It's not only a wonderful workout but I have another whole family now. A great group of people that I would never have met if it wasn't for this class.

About three years ago I met Patti in an exercise class together. I was able to lose 20 pounds in four months under a different trainer without meal planning guidance then I stopped losing weight for the next nine months and eventually became discouraged and went back to my old ways gaining more weight back. After a couple years I found out that Patti had branched off and was providing meal planning, menu options, inexpensive exercise programs and support for long term healthy lifestyle changes. I decided to give it another try and have lost 19 pounds in HALF the time of when I tried on my own. Patti provides so much more than a generic exercise program. I have benefited from the group workouts to meeting individual goals. Patti troubleshoots problem areas, meets privately, respects confidentiality while keeping the group motivated and accountable. I definitely could not do this on my own with my limited knowledge of correct food planning. I encourage anyone who is on the fence, insecure or clueless but interested in being healthier, give Patti a try. Anyone who puts forth the effort will see lasting results!

Patti has changed my outlook from dreading the gym to being excited about going to work out. Her knowledge about exercise and nutrition is top notch, and she has helped me become a better version of myself. I have taken classes with complete strangers, too, and have never once felt out of place. When you're in Patti's gym, you're family, and I am so thankful to have the opportunity to walk through those doors!
Patti, when I left Virginia the end of November you asked me if I had a “plan” as to how I would stay on track while on my “5 month vacation” to what I call “Winter Camp”. I had to think about it a bit... you offered remote coaching and I was praying I could stick with it and not gain back any of the 20 or so pounds I had lost. Well, let me tell you... with our frequent texts, remote workouts, YouTube videos if I wasn’t sure how to do an exercise, sending you my weight and macros every Monday, I succeeded! So when I finally got back to Virginia it was time for an “in body” scan... not only did I not gain, but I lost another 10 lbs and best of all I feel good! I’m looking forward to getting back into the gym, the NEW gym, but I’m here to tell you, remote coaching can work well... you just have to want it! I hope your clients keep their focus on the goal and find light at the end of this Coronavirus tunnel! 📷📷️📷. #keepmakinggoodchoices

Back in June of 2018, based on results I was seeing from others, I decided to reach out to Patti to help me get my health and wellness back. I was very hesitant, because to admit to someone I couldn’t get healthy on my own, was huge. As a wife, mom, and teacher I felt like I could manage everything. And I could, but in doing so, I was neglecting myself!
I told Patti that remote coaching would be all I could do. With a farmer for a husband, and three small children getting to a gym on a regular basis is out of the question. I signed up for remote fitness and nutrition coaching, meaning Patti sends me monthly workouts broken down into days, and she coaches me on what I need to, and should, be eating. Counting macros, tracking my food, and consuming more water has been life changing. Patti is very committed, praising me when I’m eating well, and lovingly kicking my butt when I’m not!
I check in once monthly to get new workouts, take measurements, regroup, set goals and catch up with Patti, who has become a dear friend. She is ALWAYS available whenever I need her, and we text each other a few times a week. I didn’t know if remote coaching would work, honestly. But despite not seeing her daily, and getting in a gym regularly, Patti holds me accountable. She is loving, encouraging, more than knowledgeable, and a force to be reckoned with when I’m not holding myself accountable, which I need! Without her, when things got tough, I would have quit long ago. But knowing she is rooting for me, and counting on me to the best version of myself, I HAVE kept going. AND almost 6 months later, I am down 13 pounds, and 10 inches. The best part is, I don’t feel like I’m “missing out” on anything! Patti has shown me how to enjoy life, and still be successful. It feels good to work out five days a week. It feels good to make better choices with my eating. It feels good to model a healthy lifestyle for my children. It feels good to have my clothes fit better. It feels good to have more energy, and be in a better mood. If you’re hesitant, or embarrassed, like I was, REACH OUT to Patti! She will make it work for you. Everyone’s journey is different and Patti coaches EVERYONE individually. Give her a chance, she will take care of you. And she will teach YOU, to take care of you, too.
